Trainspotting is a 1996 film about battling life with a heroin addiction. This film shows the ups of being high, but ultimately it shows the war fought within a drug addiction.
Tag line: Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a starter home. Choose dental insurance, leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose your future. But why would anyone want to do a thing like that?
Trainspotting is set in Edinburgh, based around a group of conflicted teens attempting to ease their troubles, who soon become devoured by heroin. The teens trade their ambitions, goals, dreams, and morale for "The ultimate hit, because it's better than sex". Breaking away from the devil isn't as easy as the come down epiphany sounds, stealing, lying, and deceit comes easier. After you watch "Spud" ingest drugs from his own feces, I think you will reconsider any curiosity about this drug.
